In the  little box that  comes up from the  music symbol with a list of my songs I note the  following  if I clcik on the  mixer  recording playback and volume  boxes:

sndvol32.exe not found

Further

If I highlight a song   and hit  music box  the mic symbol in yahvox  lights up   but get 0 showing and prolonged beep.   This particular thing also happens if i try and use voice.

Can someone advise on this or direct  me to a link in Forum  on this?

Thanks

sndvol32.exe controls the volume levels to your computer

if yuor system can't find it ( default is c:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe ) then it will produce errors

as for a fix, i would guess it either got moved or deleted in which case just copy it back in system32 and that should fix everything

if it's there and it don't work it might be corrupt

The file in the  system32 folder  is simply called sndvol.exe  which is the original file installed when vista  installed.

Sound  plays everywhere  fine on this puter  including paltalk.  CAn even talk in paltalk  on mic.  If I  disable sndvol.exe   my sound stop working completely.

It is ONLY yahelite that I can hear  but cannot talk or play music.

Oh I have run ycabby2   many times.  Makes no difference.
